All pieces are mine unless indicated as otherwise. If you like what you're reading and want to post it somewhere else, please just ask.
(If you're wondering, my fics are on the sidebar as pages, not as posts. Don't know if that's better or not. We shall see.)
Also, I'd love any constructive feedback you have to offer. No flaming, please.

Pirates (George Harrison)

*Another one of my pieces that might one day be part of something bigger*

Melody looked up from the picture and eyed George.  Then she looked back down at the picture.  She pinched the bridge of her nose.  George burst into laughter.
“Seriously, George, why do you all look like gay pirates?”  She asked.  His laughter died suddenly.
“We’re not bloody pirates.”  He snatched the picture from her and stared at it, as if to confirm that she was off her rocker.  “And shhh…no one is supposed to know about the other thing.”  She rolled her eyes.
“You’re an idiot.”
“I’m not the one thinking we’re trying to be gay pirates.”
“Well, then what in hell are you supposed to be?  Because all I can see is the four of you standing in brightly colored uniforms and you with a feather in your cap.”  She leaned over his shoulder and pointed at the feather.  “If that doesn’t scream ‘gay pirate’ I’m not sure what would.”
“It screams ‘we’re hip, we do LSD, and we like feathers.’”  She rolled her eyes again as she sat back on the couch.
“Who likes feathers?”  Pattie asked as she entered the room.
“Gay pirates.”  Melody sniggered.  George glared at her.  “What?  It’s what I saw.”  She shrugged, but continued to giggle.
“I don’t want to know, do I?”  Pattie’s eyebrow shot up.
“Look at this and tell me what you see.”  George practically leaped from the couch with the picture.  He held it in front of Pattie’s face.
“This for the new album?”  She looked from the picture to his face.
“Yeah, it’s bound to be full of seafaring songs about the boys they left behind.”  Melody was no longer giggling—it was full blown laughter.  She held her arms across her stomach as she shook with her amusement.
“This is the last time I let you look at anything we do.”  He huffed.
“Oh, come off it, Georgie.  You know I still love you.”  Melody grinned as her laughter faded.
“Why did I invite you over?”  George threw up his hands.
“Because you love me.”  She batted her eye lashes at him.  “And you know Pattie needs a break from you every now and then before she goes completely loony.”
